Account Executive

As an Accounts Executive at Ksquare Energy, you will play a key role in managing accounting functions and leveraging ERP systems, with a focus on Odoo, to streamline processes, ensure accuracy, and enhance efficiency. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and utilizing ERP software to support business operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, transactions, and documentation in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

2. ERP Utilization (Odoo):

• Utilize ERP software, with a preference for Odoo, to manage accounting functions, process transactions, and generate financial reports.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules to align with business requirements, optimize workflows, and enhance system functionality.

3. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and schedules, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
• Generate management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.

4. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards applicable to the solar energy industry and geographic regions of operation.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, GST filings, TDS returns, and other regulatory filings as required.

5. Process Improvement and Documentation:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements in accounting processes and ERP utilization.
• Document accounting procedures, workflows, and system configurations to ensure consistency, standardization, and knowledge transfer.

6. Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to finance team members and end-users on ERP systems, accounting processes, and best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Odoo ERP functionality, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user queries and concerns.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment of ERP systems with business objectives and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate audits, reviews, and compliance assessments.
